Q: QuestionI’m thinking of getting this printer to use for making shirts. Print and cut using cricut. Will it be compatible with the print and cut paper.

• A:Answer It works great for doing sublimation. You do need sublimation spray for cloth that is cotton. It will work without it but colors not as vivid. Printer works AWESOME for craft projects. Easy to convert to sublimation ink.

Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between the eco 2800 and 2720. Is the 2720 being discontinued because it is always out of stock? Which is the newer model

Q: QuestionWhat happens if you don't use the printer enough and the ink gets old? Is there a way to get rid of the old ink and replace with new after a couple of years?

• A:Answer I have had my color ink dry-up and clog the head. There are ways to unclog it on You Tube, but now, I made a Word document with all of the Base colors and I print that each week to keep the heads clear.

Q: Questionls the et-2800 compatible with chromebook?

• A:Answer I beg to differ with the Epson response. My chromebook will not automatically setup the et-2800 printer model, there is no option to select the et-2800 from the model list of Epson printers, and Epson's own support page does not list the et-2800 as a chromebook compatible printer.

Q: QuestionHow many pages will it print with the initial ink supply?

• A:Answer I don’t know I never got past the first ink supply because after soo many prints if the ink pads get to dirty the software won’t allow you to use the printer ever again even if you replace the ink pads

Using your computer, the ET-2800 can scan an original and attach it to a message in your e-mail program, such as Microsoft Outlook, Mac Mail, Windows Live Mail, and Entourage. As an additional option, you can set up Epson Connect services on the printer, which allows you to print and scan documents using a registered e-mail. Q: QuestionIs the ET-2800 dual banded so that I can print on either 2.4 or 5.0 G? I am not very tech smart and just want to know if this printer will work on both bands s we are about to go to 5.0G.

• A:Answer Hello 4054. Although the ET-2800 can connect to a 5 GHz router, it can only work on a 2.4GHz band. If your router uses a single network name (SSID) for both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz band, we recommend giving each band its own network name (SSID) instead, such as Home Network 2.4 GHz and Home Network 5 GHz. • A:Answer Yes, you can use this for sublimation. This printer was not originally designed for sublimation. However, when you purchase the 2800, like I did, do NOT use the ink that it comes with. Buy separate sublimation ink and install it on the initial set up. Do not mix sublimation ink with the regular ink. Hope this helps.
