• A:Answer The LG 6,000 BTU 115V Window Air Conditioner with Remote Control - White, Model # LW6017R, has a width of 17.32", and Best Buy's specifications list the Maximum Window Opening Width that the air conditioner can fit into as 39". That means the left and right guide panels can be extended by a maximum of 10.84" on either side of the air conditioner's cabinet. The owner's manual for the window air conditioner lists a Maximum Window Opening Width of 35", which means the left and right guide panels can be extended by a maximum of 8.84" on either side of the air conditioner's cabinet. We will need to have the correct Maximum Window Opening Width corrected in Best Buy's specifications. It should be 35" as indicated in the owner's manual for the air conditioner...^Ivan.
