A:AnswerNot bad. It is pushing air, so you can hear it, but not any louder than most. It is nice to have the 4 levels to adjust to. I really like this microwave and have not found many faults.
A:AnswerHi Sam,
We are delighted to answer your question about your Samsung microwave (ME19R7041FG).
Yes, You should be able to use the vent and microwave at the same time. You might notice the vent fan slowing down, but this is normal since power is being directed to the main function of the unit, which is heating the food up.
Have a great day.

A:AnswerThey do not need to be uncovered. But you need to determine how you are going to vent it. If you don't have an exhaust vent through the roof you will have to rotate the blower motor on the back to blow the other direction. The instructions are in the packet that comes with the microwave.
A:AnswerThe plate is fine. It is an access point. Even though it has metal screws, they are made out of a certain type of metal just like the metal shelf that comes with the microwave. This will not harm the microwave.
A:AnswerHi there ManBun4ever! You can use this link (https://bit.ly/2Lo4Vb8) to download a copy of the manual for this microwave. Samsung recommends following the heating directions provided by the manufacturer of that product. ^Jecca
A:AnswerYes the vent is the same location. Although the bracket is also the same the holes that mount through the cabinet were different. Had to re drill those
A:AnswerYours was installed correctly. Above the range microwaves can do either duct of vents. Big improvement from the old models. Because there was very little paper instructions (in my opinion), you can get the entire users manual online at Sansum.com
A:AnswerIt is made to mount under cabinets. Because of the venting system on it I would not recommend any other use. I would look for a free standing microwave if looking for something else.
A:AnswerThere are a few different things that could cause the microwave to stop heating. I am providing a link to an article that discusses the possible causes as well as solution steps. - https://bit.ly/2Ckl80c

A:AnswerAccording to the manual, you can cook two things at once by using the rack. One item on the bottom of the microwave and one item on the rack. The manual does point out that the rack should be placed in the clips. It also gives warnings about aluminum foil and other metals in the oven. You can download the manual from the Samsung site to read through it yourself if you wish.
A:AnswerI checked the User Manual, and page 20 has full detailed information on how to replace the cooktop/night light and the oven light. You can use this link (https://bit.ly/2Lo4Vb8) to download a copy of the manual if needed. ^Jecca
A:AnswerExcellent question, BobC! Due to there only being one display, this microwave cannot use the timer and the microwave functions at the same time. ^Jecca
A:AnswerExcellent question. Due to the placement of the ventilation system in the microwave, Samsung does not recommend using the unit unless it is properly mounted and installed. ^Jecca
