A:Answer If you are seeing this error message consistently each time you try to start your computer and you are unable to boot the computer all the way to the desktop, then you need to start all over again. It is highly unlikely that you'll be able to transfer the data. Hopefully, you have your important data backed up on USB flash drives, a backup device, to the 'Cloud' through Google Docs, One Drive, etc.
If this is the case, you can get this hard drive, provided that your computer has SATA cables and your hard drive bay is 3.5" wide. Then, you can install your same operating system to this drive and then install drivers, programs and recover your data from such sources. Hopefully, you have the physical DVD-ROM disc that your operating system came on. If not, you'll need to contact Microsoft and give them the information they ask for to send you a disc or bootable USB drive of the operating system that you bought and downloaded from them.
