    The speakers on our computer had stopped working. Your rep spent time trying to figure out the problem, but it wasn't easy--Our computer is 8 years old, and we had updated our drivers. That interfered with the speakers. He had to install an earlier version of the driver, which I would have been clueless on how to do. He quickly found that the speakers were not the problem.
