The geek squad personel diagnosed the reason why my PC was not booting up. They identified the cause as due to faulty solid state disk drive. They replaced the disk drive, reloaded the Windows and MS Office software that had been on the faulty disk drive, The computer was restored to operation. Unfortunately I lost signficant amounts of software that were on the faulty hard disk. The geek squad tried to recover data from the faulty disk drive, but were unsuccessful. The geek drive succeeded in their primary task to get the computer back in operation. The were unable to restore all the software that was on the defective drive, but I give them credit for trying to recover this data.

I forgot a password to my computer, Geek Squad was able to extract hard drive. Well worth it to get the total tech. Employees are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly

Microsoft started updating my computer every week. Every time they updated automatically for my convenience it resulted in a number of problems. First my pictures and saved files were no longer available from the folder. I f you remembered one of your files you could type the name in your search bar and it would open. All your favorites were erased, and it logged you out of Yahoo. After weeks of this more areas were affected. In order to enter the internet I had to use Firefox. The last straw was the functions on the tool bar stopped working. No availability to search, open your file folder or adjust volume.
Geek Squad cleared Windows 10 and reinstalled, updated files and now both pictures, and word, excel work like they should. Thanks Geek Squad.

Luke was very helpful and kind, had many appointments with him. The next visits I had were with Chelsea which wasn’t so great. Being a total member I should’ve been told I could return up to 60 days after purchase. Instead was told I had to ship it off and it came back with more problems including the original one. Was able to get a full refund with no help from the geek squad. Was just saying maybe the geek squad should focus more on the customers than making a few bucks which they weren’t because I am a total member so they were eating the cost of the repairs anyway.

I am so glad that I purchased the Best Buy Total Membership. I am not tech-savvy and have made some bad decisions online which led to a virus that locked my computer. I took it to Best Buy and the Geek Squad located and deleted the virus, set my preferences to prevent further trouble, and cleaned up my computer.
They even showed me features that I was not aware of.

The Geek Squad has been very helpful every time I have taken my computer in. Most of them seem to have a handle on their job. I have only had one young lady who didn't have a customer service mindset and gave me a number to call install to try to help me. She just told me it wasn't her job and she couldn't help. But other than that, pretty good experience.

I went to Best Buy March 16th to have my laptop checked for blue screen issues and due to a faulty keyboard. I was able to have the laptop assessed and the Geek Squad agent was able to turn off unnecessary apps that were overloading the CPU on the laptop.

All i can tell you is that the gentleman that assisted me is above and beyond. Fsr beyond the level of service and assistance i expected and most definitely what i needed. Frankly i try to model his level of service and selflessness when i assist customers at my own job. I had no idea someone would take all that time out working on both my machines so theyd be safe and secure on the network for my family. I have already referred other friends and family. Not to mention the patience and help they showed to other customers in desperate shape like me.

I had been hacked & the guys there helped me every step of the way. They were very patient with me, despite the fact that I had a recent stroke & not always the clearest in communicating. Viruses were cleared, but I still was not functional due to constant advertisements appearing. I brought it back to Best Buy, and Rylan McDermott-Fowler quickly and completely resolved the problem. I was very impressed by his knowledge.
A few weeks later, I brought the computer back because of a problem with Microsoft Word, without a scheduled appointment. The same person, Rylan, was there, and examined the computer. He quickly resolved this. His capability is immense.

I purchased a new HP Desktop during the July 4th holiday sale. It replaced my 13 year old desktop which crashed. The Geek Squad were requested to move over all my files but they had much trouble as the old computer was failing all the time. They and I stuck with it and when I also gave them my external backup we got the job done.Thank you Geek Squad. Very professional and friendly and nice to work with.

I don't use my acer laptop daily, so when I turned it on recently, it never rebooted...I got the blue screen of death in fact. After attempting to do a self repair via YouTube videos and chat forums, I ended up contacting BB's Geek Squad. I made an appt that afternoon, went to the GS counter and was helped by Alex and Eric. In about 15 min they determined the hard drive had failed. They suggested an affordable fix - a new solid state hard drive for $100. Since I had the BB tech support package, I only paid for the hard drive...and was able to pick up my laptop the next day. What I particularly liked was the attitude of Eric and Alex...they were informative and not condescending, which for an AARP aged guy, was appreciated. More customer service people should go through BB's training! Thx guys.

We brought in gaming laptop we bought in February since it would not charge, they sent it off and it took 3 weeks to get it back, I think is a little long since it told me part (motherboard) was in. We got it back but certain keys quit working, I was very frustrated for my grandson as he waited so long for a gaming laptop. We made a appt and Kate at Geek Sqyad was AWESOME, she tried everything not to have to send back out, but it is gone again but hopefully won’t take 3 weeks!!! 5 stars for KATE!!

I had a problem and The squad listened to me and all the while was getting me signed in to take care of my problem. They explained what they were going to do and when I would get my computer back. I was sent a text informing me my computer was ready and the time I could pick it up the next day. Great service. Thank you

I was very satisfied with the service from best Buy. My computer crashed and I thought I lost everything. Instead, they calmed my nerves did a few clicks here and there and suggested I leave it for a full restart, yet on my way home I received a call from them saying the issues was resolved. I didn't need a full restart. I have the full 1 year plan. I it completely worth it if you use your computer for any work related things.
