The agents repaired my computer. Unfortunately, I still had problems with the computer and had to return it to them. Sonny checked the computer while we waited, found the problem and corrected it. Thank you Sonny!!!

I was so upset when my gaming laptop died on Christmas. I was happy that I was ablw to bring my laptop in the next day and then have it fixed in no time! Service was kind and phenomenal

The technician stuck to it and finished working on my laptop even after he was scheduled to be off work so that I didn't have to drive 90 miles to come back for it. He solved the problem I was having

I am pleasantly surprised how good the Geek Squad is. The customer service is exceptional and the best. My desktop computer has been failing booting as Windows 10 auto update was corrupted and I was not able to use my computer for several months. Then I contacted Geek Squad at the closest Best Buy Store [At Rivergate Plaza, South Tryon St] and that was the best thing and Glad I did. They listened to my computer issues and able to bring my computer to life. I highly recommend their service.

The agents were very professional, as a person who isn’t very experienced with pc gaming they helped me understand the issues and the reasons why. fixed the problems I was having in a reasonable amount of time and now I’m enjoying my gaming!

Geek Squad is Tops for Computer Software Repairs!

I started getting strange error messages on many of my software programs and they wouldn't load. Turns out my anti-virus program was the culprit. The Geek Squad had no problem with removing the program (which was Kaspersky and it was sold with the all-in-one that I own) and I was able to use another anti-virus program that I already had on my machine. The Geek Squad also reloaded Kaspersky to test whether it was truly that program and the problems started again. They again deleted the program. I have had no problems since then.

I am very self-conscious of how computer challenged I am. Yet I met Brent, a Geeksquad member, and he put me completely at ease. He does everything from setting up my new computer to adding virus protection and transferring things from my old computer. He shows me how to navigate for what I’m looking for. Because of Brent, I will shop at Best Buy for all other technological purchases.

I have been a customer of the geek squad for over 5 years. I have never been sorry when I have taken my computer in or have been serviced on line. I would and have recommended them to most of my friends who have asked where I get my computer worked on.

The agents were quick, helpful, and knowledgeable. I took my PC in because my GPU seemed to have issues shutting down my PC while playing games. They dusted it out, installed 3 new fans, and worked great when I got it back. I had to send out my GPU for repairs via MFG, but I received my GPU back, and the new fans and clean up they did work great!

I had a computer with a Windows 10 issue. Agent was able to save all of my documents on a separate drive and reload some missing files for Windows 10 to operate correctly. I was kept informed of the progress the entire time. Purchasing Beta provides more than just repairs like this. It also covers extended warranties on new purchases as well. The 'Squad' did a great job!

Surface Pro 6 OS Re-install

Fried my Surface Pro 6 with driver updates so needed to get the OS re-installed. I have a license for Windows 11 but when i got the tablet back it only had windows 10 installed. So since it was "Clean" i gave it to my son/grandkids. Love the Surface devices (had 3 starting with the RT model).

Brought my computer in because it was having problems loading simple sites and watching youtube videos even though the internet was working fine. They fixed that and found that my hard drive was failing and replaced it with an ssd i had!

The in-store service is of high quality as always. However, you run the risk of being confronted with long waits and a questionable bill if you don't do the following:
-Set up your visit to the store through the app (for ANYTHING related to Geek Squad...even a pick up). They may not even talk wtih you at all if you haven't.
-Buy Total Tech Assistance. It will save you time, money and the hassle of figuring out your bill in the long-run.

From the phone call to explain and schedule my service to pick up, the agents were professional, willing to explain things, and so very quick in completing repairs. Very glad that I bought the protection plan too—at an agent’s suggestion. Definitely worth the money.
