QuestionHi, I am trying to install my Epson FF-680w. When i select to install using WI-FI it gets to where it is trying to add the printer and I get the message "Scanner not found". I have a router that has both 2.4g and 5g. Might that be the problem.

- Answer The machine goes through a boot up process. Sometimes you have to wait for it to complete. Don’t know what other issue is going on but doubt it has anything to do with the network’s frequency. 2.5 and 5 are standards.

QuestionThe enhancement settings don't work. I have it set to scan and save the original photo, to correct and save the enhanced photo and also the back of the photo. But it is only saving one--a "b" which is supposed the back but is the unenhanced front.

- Answer Make sure you are stacking you photo face side up in the feeder. A is the original. B is the enhancement. C is the back side.

- Answer I scan pictures and store in Google Drive. And I have several folders for various categories. Basically the scan will move everything to pictures under fast foto and You can specify the folder name you want the file saved to, It will scan the photos and move it to the folder you have created

- Answer It is only a scanner not a printer. It doesn’t print so no ink. It scans your printed pictures and turns them into a digital file.

QuestionWe are interested in scanning photos as well as receipts. We really don't want two scanners, and this one seems like the best choice for photos. Can this scan receipts and export to Quickbooks like the RapidReceipt RR-600W?

- Answer Absolutely. I have scanned, besides old photos, receipts on papers of various stock. note that I normally scan receipts singly and not in batches. If the stock quality is similar, I suspect that you will not have jamming issues. Also, I have scanned photos in batches without any problems to date; so, I would think that you would be able to scan receipts in batches.

- Answer 100% Mac compatible. I used it with my 16" M2 Macbook Air. It's incredibly fast and it amazed me when the files were importing, how quickly the scanner additionally produced a file of their version of a color fix for any photos I had that were aged. I also like that if a photo has writing on the back, that gets scanned in simultaneously, preserving the photo and whatever could be on the back side. It's a really awesome tool for archiving old family photos.

- Answer It has it's own power supply so I don't understand what power you are talking about. It works wirelessly using your internet connection and works well. I'm using windows 11 but i'm sure it would work with and older system.

- Answer Yes it can but sometimes the variable thickness of a polaroid makes the scanner think there's a jam. But unless you have hundreds of polaroids I would recommend a regular flat bed scanner.
