- Answer This air conditioner uses 440 watts while cooling. The surge (or startup) power when the compressor cycles on is approximately 2 times the running power and lasts only a second or two. Therefore, the surge power is approximately 880 watts for this model. For more information, check out the rating plate on the unit and the Electrical Requirements section on page 9 of the Owner’s Manual. QuestionDoes this air conditioner change fan speed or turn off the compressor to keep the room one stable temperature? Or do you have to manually regulate the temperature?

- Answer On economy (eco) it turns off the compressor but keeps the fan on and then turns back on. Also this is pretty quiet of an ac.

QuestionHow do you drain this ac?

- Answer There is a sub base plug on the outside part of the unit you can remove to help drain any residual moisture. Otherwise, careful tilting of the unit to the outside will also help remove water from the pan. We encourage this be done by a min8imum of two people so as not to drop and damage the unit.

QuestionI installed this unit the other day. The compressor doesn't seem to be cycling on and off. Room is 120Sq Ft, set to "cool" (not ECO), and low fan. Is this normal? Maybe the fan drowns out the compressor noise?

QuestionInstall brand new air conditioner. Unit has been running for two hours and a small bedroom at 65° and the temperature has still not cold. The air blowing out is not very cool either.

- Answer That is exactly what mine is doing and it's making me very angry. Actually I bought 3 of these ac's. 2 of them are fine but the 3rd one is in my little "private" room and just blows air....warmish air !! This is the 2nd one I've tried in here. The first one did the same thing so I returned it and got another one. Boy was I looking forward to having the cold cold air in my room. Nope, it still blows the exact same way the other one did. I've tried everything and am just at a loss as to what to do next. To make it worse, the only way it can be moved at all is for me to get my grandson to come do it for me.....he works 5 days a week AND lives an hour away
