I have many questions about my new computer and the Geek Squad answers all my questions!

The Squad went above and beyond to help us get the 2 laptops set up for both of my college age kiddos!! They were EXTREMELY efficient and had ZERO issues afterwards. I cannot say enough great things about Best Buy’s customer service and especially The Geek Squad! Thank you!!!

Helped me set up new computer. I use a computer but not very knowledgeable

I placed an appt request to connect my TV, printer and PC after a move. A Geek Squad tech arrived, walked thru what I had and needed, then told me he was only there to make an appt for the service to be done. Huh? So he attempted to make a new appt but was unable because he could not get connected to the schedule app. That cost me $149.99, to be told 'someone' would contact me' to set another appt. Yes, I am in the Geek Squad Service Plan. I paid and waited. Noone called the following day so I called. An appt was set up for 2 weeks later. The tech that came out then was extremely helpful and got me all set up & running. My TV had been connected by another entity, so GS tech connected my DVD, printer & PC and gave me a receipt for $99.98. I tried to call Geek Squad to ask about the charge/receipt discrepancy. Unable to reach anyone by phone (after being given options that did not pertain to my question on the menu) I was disconnected. Went to Chat and thru "Virtual" given same options that still did not pertain, I gave up. Next day I attempted Chat and finally got connected to a real person who could only say '3 services were performed. That I paid for 3 services.' When I suggested the tech apparently did not believe what he did warranted the cost of 3 separate services, he suggested I speak to someone else in Customer Sevice. I thought that was who I was speaking to. Consequently I am not happy with Customer Service for either Geek Squad or Best Buy. The tech that performed the services was great, no problems there & the reason for 3 stars vs -1. I will not be renewing my Geek Squad service plan. There are several local services that will come to my home to provide needed service for less than the $49.99 per maintenance or repair of individual items, in addition to the $199.99 per year, just cuz. And, I'd still like to know how there is accountability for 1 "scheduler" charging $149.99 and another technician receipting $99.99 for services provided and no explanation as to where the other $50 has gone??

I have used several computer techs over the years, including Dell (Alienware) and ATT&T. But the support I have received over the last several months from Geek Squad's Kain Si-Noon Kim has been exceptionally good. He is an outstanding tech and additionally he is a patient, courteous Geek Squad Representative. When I have a tech problem -- which has been quite often this year I always call Kain to set up my Geek Squad appointment. I would use no other tech! Alan R

The set-up and down of various software went very quick and highly professional

Transferring data and setting up took about 45 minutes, Hooked up router directly to PC for better speed.

Geek squad did a great job. Explained everything to me. Everything works great. Money well spent.

Geek squad set up my new desk top computer and installed my office program quickly and accurately.

Both my recent home and in-store visits with the Geek Squad team were very good. Naturally, the in-home visit was much more personalized as the Geek customized my new PC as I requested. My only concern came when I asked an in-store Geek how long the batteries in the keyboard and mouse would last. He said 240 hours but after I questioned it, he admitted he had made it up. Just makes me wonder about other answers accuracy. But I’m home and all is working fine now.
