Q: QuestionDoes the machine run quietly? I'm assuming it can be heard when it's making ice, but just curious how quiet the machine is when it's maintaining it's normal temperature. Is it as quiet as a typical refrigerator or does it operate at louder levels?

Q: QuestionDoes the ice storage compartment keep the ice frozen or does it melt gradually?

The temperature of the bin relies on the ice made to stay cool. The design intent is that the unit makes ice and that ice continuously melts. We hope you choose our GE ice maker for your home. Q: QuestionCan purified water (reverse osmosis) be hooked to this if the pressure is 40+ psi?

- A:Answer Hi - According to the Installation Instructions for the icemaker, yes. This machine can be supplied with Reverse Osmosis water, but the water conductivity must be no less than 10 microSiemens/cm. Q: Questiondoes the door come with the machine? and is there a handle?

- A:Answer The ice machine comes with an unfinished door and no handle. This model requires a custom panel for the door and you supply your own handle. My cabinet maker is making a panel so the ice machine will blend in with the rest of the cabinetry and I purchased a handle to match the other hardware in the kitchen.

Q: QuestionMy plumber is trying to install the floor drain and we want to make sure we don't interfere with where the legs will be. Does anyone know where the legs of the ice maker is located? Are they 3 inches in from the back? 3 inches in from the sides?
