- Answer Hi Scan, The WF-7840 can scan an 11.7" x 17" document. Or, you can print a 13" x 19" document sent from a computer, smart phone or tablet. The largest copy size is an 11" x 17" document. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

- Answer 13x19 only works from the back tray but yes it has several settings for glossy and such for photos and yes I did print some photos on 13x19 and they did seem to turn out but I am by no means an expert on photo quality.

QuestionCan this printer exist both on a wired Ethernet network and on a Wireless network simultaneously. My usage patter is Windows Desktops using a wired network and Windows Laptops and Iphones and Android Notepads using Wireless networking.

- Answer From my experience setting these up at jobsites across the country, you have to use one or the other. The way that I set this up is to connect via Ethernet. If you are wirelessly connected with the laptop or iPad, you can print to that device through the same router / network. What I have experienced when you have wireless turned on on the printer, it for some reason disables the wired connection. I get a call about it not working and the first question is if they turned on the wireless. Once they disable that, the wired network works.

- Answer I have scanned documents of several hundred pages using the ADF, but you have to set up the scan for continuous scanning. When it finishes a set, it will give you the option to add to it before finishing.

- Answer Hello Jackie. Ink yields can vary on the WF-7840 depending on the ink cartridge size. Using Standard capacity inks, you can print up to 350 ISO pages in black 300 ISO pages in color. Using XL High-capacity ink cartridges, you can print up to 1,100 ISO pages in black and color. Lastly, using our XXL Extra high-capacity black ink cartridge can yield up to 2,200 ISO pages. QuestionCan it scan an open book? How large physical ddimension can it scan?

- Answer My Epson Workforce Pro WF-7840 can scan an open book; however, the quality of your scan results will depend upon how flat the book will lay on the glass. For the attached example: I scanned an open book which measured 13.5" across both pages, and 10" high. The book is 1-3/4" thick when closed, so the binding kept it from laying flat. If it were softbound, you'd likely get a better image. The scan bed is 11"x17", which is nice.

- Answer Hello Sonja. The WF-7840 has a rear paper feed designed for loading thick paper. The heaviest paper we've tested with this machine is Epson Ultra Premium Photo Paper Glossy, which weighs 79 lb.
