My money was well spent in having the Geek Squad install my Smart TV on the wall with an adjustable bracket!!! I am very pleased with the knowledge and expertise of the technician

I've filed a claim
Called & left messages at 855.832.1338 multiple times !
They have not solved the problem, Nor have called me back .
No emails ... They were very unprofessional , Not knowledgeable & damaged our furniture ..

I included this service as part of my home theater installation, despite already knowing how to do it on my own, and think in retrospect that it was the right choice for me. While experienced Home Theater buffs scoff and suggest that people handle this one on their own, for me it was part of a larger installation process. I was glad to have my TV and sound system completely set up and know it worked correctly when the tech left. Once you learn how this is done though and how your receiver works, it's really pretty easy. One small gripe might be that given its necessity, along with all of the other adjustments the tech will do during an install anyway, why this step can't be included in a generic "set up and delivery". In any case, for first timers or anyone who might otherwise have trouble with tech, this is a must. It's also awfully nice when the tech leaves just to be able to enjoy your system!

This review covers the GEEK SQUAD set-up of my Sony 75" Class - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV with High Dynamic Range, a Yamaha AVENTAGE 7.2-Ch. 4K Ultra HD A/V Home Theater Receiver, a Klipsch Reference Premiere home theater surround sound system, the Harmony Elite Advanced remote programming and the calibration of my TV.
First, I’d just like to say “Thank You” to Dakota, Derek, Dustin and the only guy whose name didn’t start with a “D”……Nephi. These gentlemen were amazing and they really knew their stuff!! The installation, programming and calibration of the TV required these gentlemen to show up on three separate occasions. They always arrived on time, were highly professional and did an amazing job!!!.

Edward and Ryan were terrific in setting up and integrating all of our new entertainment components, and in making sure our existing components, such as Apple TV, were integrated, as well. We were impressed with their expertise and knowledge. We knew that they would make sure the entire entertainment system was working as intended, before they left. We always feel confident that Geek Squad technicians will work to resolve any issues we've asked them to look at; the technicians that have been at our home are always courteous and excellent representatives of Best Buy. We recommend Best Buy and the Geek Squad to our friends and family without reservation.

Sorry I took so long. Michael the sale agent & the person Gave great advice both on the TV & ampifler I bought He was very knowledgeable an Patient with me. Mohammed the “geek squad” agent was absolutely fantastic. It took him over a hour to set everything up and worked me through the operations. I had to call him 3 times to get some advice & he picked up the phone on the first ring. Again, I could not have done this with out his help & patience. He was great. Both worked from the Best Buy @ the Forume outlet. I can’t say enough about his expertise & patience in helping me out. It was a complicated system to set up, & I’m pretty good @ doing this on my own.

I've had Geek Squad out twice recently- to install an LG OLED TV, nd then to mount/install a Sonos Playbar. The Geek Squad team has been polite, efficient, and answered all questions. A word of caution, however- my experience with their 3rd-party Audio/Video install team was not nearly as good. Apparently, they are so busy they have to supplement the Geek Squad team with 3rd-party providers. When ordering Geek Squad services, I strongly recommend you request Geek Squad only. You may need to wait a bit longer, but at least you know you will get trained techs who are more accountable.

I purchased this service as part of a complete makeover of my home audio and vedio system. I had the Geek Squad come out to my house and evaluate the room(s) that I wanted serviced by the new equipment, etc. That service was really great and free too. The tech listened to my desires and recommended this equipment to meet my requirements. When they put it all together, I was very happy with the results. I'm a very happy camper. The tech explained the system to me and completed the initial setup. They were completely friendly and knowledgeable. Great service.

Impressed they arrived with booties to cover their shoes. After installing our 75” tv, they were hacking out the connections with Roku, DVD and DVR , and the eagle eye of the Geek Squad noticed a fault in our new TV. Unfortunately, there were no others, so recommended a different, yet equal TV, which came the next week and we love it. Would definitely recommend purchasing from Best Buy. I also got their insurance package, but since this was a faulty product on delivery, it did not apply..

My wife and I have built a new house and we were looking for a good sound system that would make it even more special. We went to the Virginia beach Best Buy for the equipment and had Geek Squad handle the install. We're happy we did. Ronnie and Marcus from Virginia beach did the work on one day and Ronnie and Andrew returned another day to finish our project. They were knowledgeable and courteous as well as professional. Need work done? Ask for them

Geek squad modernized my audio system

My old audio system was 10 years old. It has two zones. Zone 1 for the living room and zone 2 for the rest of the house. When we got a new TV three years ago, the installer (not Geek Squad) could not hook up the HDMI cable that the cable company wanted us to use. We were told that we needed to get a new amplifier. Not so! Not only were we hooked up, but we also we lost a whole lot of unneeded cables. Our system works great and is simpler to operate.

I had a very positive experience with the set up of my Onkyo Receiver by the Geek Squad. The service man spent a lot of time making sure that my speakers and XM radio were hooked up properly. He also spent time to explain to me all of the things it could do and how to use the remote to go from one application to another. I would definitely recommend this service to anyone who wants to get the most out of their new receiver.

We had our home theater set up so it combined the video, the setup of the logitech remote and the surround sound system. We have had surround sound for ten years, but the gentleman who set up our surround sound system this time, has provided us with a whole new level of surround sound experience. We are very pleased with what the technician from Best Buy was able to accomplish with our new home theater system.

He brought in the 75" TV and quickly hung it on the wall. He even fed the wires through the holes I had cut in the wall, so that the wires cannot be seen. He then quickly connected the surround speakers to the receiver and then magically balanced each speaker to make it sound like you are in the scene you are watching on the TV. A professional, knowledgable and friendly tech. Well worth the cost!

The Geek Squad member was highly trained and proficient. She was on time, knew her stuff, and did an excellent job. She didn't just do the basics either. She did a lot of stuff I would consider "extra." like bundling cords and using zip ties to keep them all together and out of the way. There was no rush either. She stayed while I got my wifi set up on my t.v. (even though I was having issues). It was a great experience.

I bought a home with built in speakers but could not get them to work with my old receiver. GS came with a new Devon receiver and wired up the speakers to the new receiver. Now I enjoy music throughout the house and it sounds great! Associate arrived on time, knew what he was doing and made sure it all worked. Finally at the end cleaned it all up. I am very happy with how it all worked out.

I used the add-on service for audio soundbar set up along with my 82" Samsung Smart TV mounting, and the squad completed the task in no time and also followed up with phone call next day to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. Definitely recommend the annual tech support membership so that these small services don't end up costing a fortune.

Although the audio setup was completed by the Geek Squad rep. I later felt that it was not producing the sound as it should have been. After calling the rep. and his walking me through several steps on the remote, it was up and running very well. I gave this four stars, as I felt it should have been tuned properly as soon as it was installed rather than having to call the rep. for help the next day. However, it was very well taken care of to my satisfaction.

I had to purchase a new TV, and Geek Squad mounted it and set it up with my existing mount and sound bar. They removed the Sharp Aquos 80" and mounted my new Samsung QLED 4K Ultra 82" . . . I love it; they were very knowledgeable and nice, and I will continue to use them for future TV purchases. Thanks Geek Squad!
