. today i called 1 more number Saturday 4/1/2023 moring still on hold waiting to find out when a tek would be hereI'm not happy.

I bought a refurbished Dell Inspiron Computer Desktop, I have continually have has trouble with it,the Geek Squad set it up and gas been back here Twice and I still having trouble with it, I called three different times and all three times was on hold forever and each time we got disconnected, I did get a Case No. 282681050, someone was suppose to call me within 48 hours, No on ever did....Still waiting!!!

It is extremely difficult to connect to scheduling a Geek Squad home service.
Once scheduled, the first visit was ineffective.
On the second visit, we requested computer service and a home theatre specialist was sent, resulting in very little progress

The technician did a good job, however, he charged me for renewal of service contract without asking me if I wanted this. I requested a refund for this charge on my credit card as I do not wish to renew my service contract

In all the years I have had a service contract with you, I have never experienced anyone or I should say anything this horrible

The Support Tech came on time and installed a CCleaner, but the problem we have was not resolved. The problem has to do with Device Security. I think the Tech tried, but was not successful.

Geek Squad/Total Tech can’t fix Apple products

Very disappointed! We had Geek Squad come out as we were having problems getting our Web Root program on our iMac to update. The tech came out and was able to get the program working but said we needed a software update and to take our computer in to Best Buy for that update. We made an appointment and took our computer in and we’re immediately told they can’t work on iMac all in one computers because they can’t reseal them once opened as they don’t have the glue necessary to re-glue a device once opened. I’m not mentioning all the phone calls and transfers we went through while diagnosing the problem and no one ever mentioned that Best Buy can’t open iMacs because they can’t re-seal them. I’m sure it says something in the small print in out Total Tech agreement but we have all Apple products in our home and now know they all can’t be fixed if they need to be opened for any reason.

I had requested a full review of my wifi failure as well as my computer , printer, and camera problems to be addressed and this was not communicated so I only had my computer internet failure addressed in the brief time he was here and not at all what I requested, so very disappointed by the limited service and need to reschedule for the remaining at a much higher cost than what i was quoted. I could replace my printer for the cost of what servicing would be. Just too impractical. I would have done just that if they had given me this information in advance.

Total Tech service from Geek Squad

My laptop operating system was destroyed by a Microsoft update. Three weeks, three in home visits, two in store trips to the Geek Squad, one phone support call and charged $200 more than the price I was shown when I ordered new laptop before I was back up and running. Also, I had to go online to figure out how to get my data files where they should be and get my programs working - this took me about 1.5 days on my own. Also, my name is spelled incorrectly on my account and they say they cannot correct this.

The in home service is higher than I anticipated having purchased the Geek Squad contract. I don't see much value of the contract. Had to pay a separate cost for the Tv versus the internet/tv service.
