    My original schedule was from 12-8pm. They called to say installers were going to be a couple hours late which was okay. They called again saying they were coming at 7:30. Then called again saying they will be here at 8:30pm. It took them until Midnight to finish 2 cameras. Not only I waited the entire day for them to come they came after 8pm & took another 4 hours for complete. I paid for a (Wired Camera install) and already the installer was giving me options on getting a wireless camera because it was easier to install. He was also trying to reschedule after I waited 9 hours for him saying my wires weren't long enough when I knew it was. I understand it was after hours but that has nothing to do with me for my installer to be in a bad mood doing his job, good customer service is everything. He used black zip ties to mount the wires instead of the white mounts that already came with my wires, and on top of that he didn't even cut a couple zip ties on the wall. They made a mess on my floor after installing the cameras & didn't even bother cleaning it up. That's just the minimum of what went wrong, on top of that I got charged twice for the installation, another $200 deducted from my account the next day...

    While scheduling the camera installation was a lengthy process and took multiple calls which was painful, the installation of the wired cameras went well. The installation was performed by a third party hired by Best Buy and they did great work. They took time to make sure it was done correctly and wired properly. The installation took all day due to the number of cameras - 10 total. The only item that could have been improved is if there would have been more time or a separate time to go over additional settings of the system to ensure we are using it to the fullest. Overall, impressed with the installation other than the initial calls and visits to schedule it.

    One camera of the first set died. Had to take Both cameras down and return as "a set". What a pain. This was after waiting 3 weeks for a geek squad appointment for service. Then had to order new cameras and wait an additional 3 weeks for install. Too much time without camera coverage. Hoping for better luck with the replacements. The geek squad installers for the replacement cameras were great. Install was fast. There is still intermittent "Camera is offline" notifications from various cameras.

    I BOUGHT A WIRED CAMERA INSTALL FROM BEST BUY TWICE. MY FIRST INSTALL WAS PURCHASED AND APPOINTMENT WAS SCHEDULED FOR OCTOBER 28TH. THIS GUY FROM GEEK SQUAD SHOWS UP AND SAYS THE GEEK SQUAD DOES NOT INSTALL WIRED CAMERAS. SO I SAID THEN WHY DID YOU SELL ME THE SERVICES. HE SAID WELL WE DO INSTALL WIRED CAMERAS BUT NOT THE RING CAMERAS. REALLY??? HE SAYS HE HAS TO GO BACK TO THE STORE AND HE WILL HAVE SOMEONE CALL TO RESCHEDULE. NO PHONE CALL AND NO CAMERAS INSTALLED. I NEEDED THESE CAMERAS INSTALLED AS I WAS LEAVING FOR 5 MONTHS FOR THE WINTER. I CALLED 888 BEST BUY 10/28/10/29 AND 10/30. NO ONE WAS WILLING TO ASSIST SO I RETURNED THE CAMERAS TO BEST BUY. THEN I MAKE A SECOND ATTEMPT TO GIVE BEST BUY ANOTHER CHANCE. ALL I CAN SAY IS IT WAS A NIGHTMARE. PURCHASED CAMERAS AGAIN 11/3 AND MADE APPT FOR 11/27. GET A TEXT A COUPLE OF DAYS LATER CONFIRMING AN 11/8 APPT. I DID NOT SCHEDULED FOR 11/8 AS NO ONE WAS HOME. CALL AND WAIT ON HOLD JUST TO FIND THAT I CANNOT GET MY 11/27 APPT BACK. SO RESCHEDULED FORM 11/13 AND HAD TO PAY SOMEONE TO SIT AT MY HOUSE FOR 7 HOURS AND THEY NO SHOWED. GOT A CALL 1/2 HOUR AFTER THE NO SHOW AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD AN EARLIER ISSUE. THIS WAS A THIRD PARTY INSTALLER. THEY PROMISED THEY WOULD COME OUT 11/26. BUT MY BB ACCOUNT WAS NEVER UPDATED WITH THE NEW APPOINTMENT. SO I CONTINUED TO CALL PERIODICALLY TO GET ANOTHER APPOINTMENT AND WAS TOLD I COULD NOT HAVE CAMERAS INSTALLED UNTIL MID DECEMBER. WAS PROMISED A CALL BACK ON THREE DIFFERENT OCCASIONS FROM A SUPERVISOR AND NO ONE BOTHERED TO CALL BACK. ONE REP PROMISED ME AN ESCALATION CALL AND COMPENSATION AND NO CALL/NO COMPENSATION, I GUESS MY TIME IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING. THE MANY HOURS I SAT ON HOLD AND HAD TO EXPLAIN MY SITUATION OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN WITH NO RESOLUTION, THANKFULLY THE THIRD PARTY INSTALLER KEPT THEIR PROMISE AND SHOWED UP TO COMPLETE THE INSTALL ON 11/26. I AM CANCELLING MY TOTAL TECH SUBSCRIPTION AND WILL NEVER USE GEEK SQUAD SERVICES AGAIN. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE GEEK SQUAD AS THEY ARE NOT DEPENDABLE

    The Geek Squad technicians were excellent. They knew exactly what to do and even provided additional information on what else I needed to purchase. They even went back to Best Buy and pick up the additional items I needed to complete the church security setup. That was so great, this saved me time from having to go purchase it and than having to call and schedule another service installment.

    Moneda, failed! Came out twice and just did a rush job. The 2nd time basically was to put wire covers. They did not install the DVR properly. Bill, from Geek Squad came over and figured it out. He was Brilliant! If I get a TV he's installing it!

    The guy who scheduled my Best Buy service was phenomenal. However, the third party installer, Manata, fell short in every way. First, they called me the night before and said we were the first stop and they would be there between 7-8am. That time came and went and I called the company multiple times to see where the technician was at. No one provided a good answer. The technician arrived at 3pm. He was a younger guy who had no experience installing PoE cameras. He seemed stumped on how to install the cameras. He called his company and stated he was unable to install through the attic. When I asked how else he could install the Ethernet for the PoE cameras, he said he could run the cord across the dining room ceiling to the living area. I declined that option because I do not want Ethernet running across the ceiling. He said that was his only option and left. Found an electrician who offered to install my two cameras for $250. It was cheaper and knows how to run the cable through the attic. Overall, disappointed with Best Buy’s third party installer.

    Purchased Nest Outdoor Camera and was installed by 3rd party company Mastec from our Best Buy tech plan. Kevin Andrerson from Mastec did a very great job setting up, installing, running the cables through walls as opposed to the cables being exposed. He also sealed the drilled holes. We are very pleased that Best Buy sent him for our Home Automation setup and installation. We will request to work with him again in the future.

    Mac and Monica were not only pleasant to talk to, but very knowledgeable about the equipment. They were able to listen to my needs and provide suggestions for the placement of my cameras. They also provided tips on other ways I can benefit from my home security system. Anytime I purchase equipment from Best Buy I will request Geek Squad for the installation. I highly recommend them because They are worth it!!!!

    I ordered my install of my wired Ring cameras at the beginning of Feb 2022. I was rescheduled last minute constantly and no one seemed to care. The installation service person never even had the decency to call me and let me know they could not make it multiple times after inconveniencing me and having me use my PTO to be present! I am so upset! I had to leave work early last week to go to the store in person to speak to a manager. I was told it would be escalated but the service provider never reached out to me. I called the store directly to cancel because I decided to just get a wireless one and install myself after being given the run around. I was told they would come out Friday. They came out today just to tell me that they cannot install it. My time is valuable but this experience showed me that the customer’s time does not matter to you all!

    Third Party installer showed up and told me he wasn’t authorized to install wired cameras but he was nice enough to tell me that I needed to call Best Buy and let them know that it needed to be a Geek Squad that should install it. Did just that and I even specified that I needed a Geek Squad. Got another appointment scheduled. Day of installation came but the installer didn’t come. Followed up with Best Buy and got passed around to 6 service representatives. Found out from one service rep that they scheduled me with the same guy that came the previous day, who was the third party installer not authorized to do wired cameras. I insisted that I needed someone who is authorized to install wired cameras and they couldn’t find anybody. Wasted 2 days waiting for their 7am-7pm installation schedule twice. Horrible experience!

    The installers were very nice...however they could not get my doorbell chime to work once the doorbell camera was installed. The camera works but now the bell doesn't ring inside our home. It worked before the install. They told me I would have to call an electrician. Not real happy about paying for a service and then have to pay out more money to fix something that was not broke before they arrived.???

    I will not buy from Best Buy again! This was the absolute worst experience we have had with Best Buy in our 25+ years we have been buying from them . First technician that came out had never installed the system before. The second technician who came out kept looking on You Tube to try and figure it out. The third technician who came out said it would never work in our home and said we needed to look at ADT or CPI (he was a third party company wearing an ADT badge)! We hired an electrician to come and install the two camera/floodlights and the doorbell and they ALL work just fine. Never deal with Best Buys "Geek Squad"!!!!! If I could give ZERO stars I would.

    Geek squad installed two solar chargers for us.

    We added solar chargers for two of our security cameras. The installer was very polite and obviously knew exactly what he was doing. He had the two cameras back up and running in less than 30 minutes. We're delighted not to have to climb ladders every month to replace all of the batteries with recharged.

    On November 13, 2021, I had a scheduled security camera installation at my home between 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. I decided to call Best Buy approximately at 12:00 noon to follow-up on the estimated arrival time. An associate on the phone advised me that they have reached out to the assigned technician and the technician would be calling me. Sometime later a dispatch at Mandra called advising me that the technician was in route and the new estimated time would be between 2:00 - 3:00 pm. When the technician (Ruben) arrived, I was asked where I would like the cameras installed. I showed him where I would like the cameras mounted on the outside of the house. At that time, I was asked where the NVR box would be placed and if I had the product. I replied that I had the product and we proceeded inside the house where I showed him the bedroom where the NVR box would be located. He asked if we could step outside where we could discuss the install. As we were outside, the technician advised me that he did not have the proper ladder to reach the attic and that this project was a two man job. He asked me if I would reschedule for the next weekend because his buddy was out of town and he needed to borrow the ladder to reach the attic and that this project was a two man job. I mentioned that I was under the impression that the installation would be done the same day as my appointment. He said this project is an all day job and that has two other television installations to mount ahead of me. He started to explain to me if I would cancel my installation with Best Buy and that they would refund my money and that he would charge me cheaper to install my cameras with his buddy the next weekend. He asked me how much was Best Buy charging me and that he would charge me less. I told him that I was not comfortable giving him that information. He then asked me if I was a Best Buy member. I told him that I want a professional job and his way is unprofessional. He said, "Well you have to call Best Buy and tell them that I can not do the job because I do not have the right ladder and that it is a two man job." I called Best Buy and they told me that they will have to reschedule. I reported to Best Buy that this incident took place and that I was not comfortable with the situation. I requested for a new company (3rd party) to come out next time. They assured me that they would send someone else. I told them that the technician was still at my house and was worried about how he would react to me reporting this incident. The Best Buy specialist assured me that they would tell him that we are rescheduling that way he could leave. So they called him and he left and I was told that I would get a call back which I never got a follow-up to make sure that the situation was handled with my safety concern. I called Best Buy on Monday to ask for an update. I explained the situation and was informed that a complaint was being filed and it was being escalated to corporate and that I would be receiving a call within four hours, which I never received. At that time, I was re-scheduled for Wednesday, and I took the day off work to be available between 7:00 am - 1:00 pm. (the technician was running late again), so I called Best Buy to ask why the delay and they told me that they were looking into it and that I would be receiving a call from the installation team. I received a call around 12:30 pm from the technician Alexander (Alex) requesting that I bear with him and that he had three other television mounts to install at three different locations and that he would make it to my house between 5:00 - 6:00 pm. He arrived at 5:30 p.m. At this time, he requested that I show him where I would like the cameras installed and that he was already aware of the previous technician. We proceeded inside to locate where I would like the NVR Box placed and which bedroom. I showed him the WIFI Modem at the front of the house and how I would like the ethernet cord to be installed behind the wall leading to my upstairs bedroom where the NVR Box is located. He stopped right there and said that I would need to contact Spectrum to relocate my WIFI Modem upstairs and next to the NVR Box. I mentioned the reason for the WIFI Modem being at the front of the house was because Spectrum advised that it needed to be closest to the center of the house. The Technician said he can't install the ethernet cable to the NVR Box but that he would mount my cameras and call it completed. I said, "I do not feel that is a 100% complete job, because the camera system requires connection to the modem in order to have remote access from the app on the phone. I then called Best Buy and explained the situation. They told me to tell the techinican to do a 100% job the way I wanted it and that I would not be charged extra and that Best Buy will handle any extra fees and I will not be charged any additional fees. At this time, we were standing outside with Alex and his buddy Ruben which was the technician from the first appointment and was the one that would be helping him. I stepped inside to call Best Buy and I explained the full situation and they were in dismay. They told me that they would reschedule and investigate the situations. Best Buy advised the technician Alex that it would be rescheduled. During all this, Alex had ordered pizza to be delivered to my house because he said he had not eaten lunch yet. So they ate pizza infront of my neighbor's house with one their trucks blocking half of my neighbors drive way. This whole situation was very unprofessional. They did not leave until 8:15pm. I called Best Buy back when he left and they told me that they were escalating the matter to corporate and they would contact me within four hours and I never received a call back or a response. On Monday, November 22, 2021, I received a push notification from Best Buy stating that my order was cancelled and that a refund was being processed. I tried calling Best Buy to request the status of the issue. I explained that I never cancelled the order and Best Buy told me the computer system did it automatically on its own. I requested to speak to a manager which the Best Buy associate told me there is nothing that any associate or manager can do. I explained that I should be compensated for all my troubles on top of my refund. I felt I was rudely responded to and was eventually hung up by a Best Buy associate (George) around 4:30 pm on November 22, 2021. I then drove over to the Best Buy location in Rancho Cucamonga to explain to Customer Service and explained my situation to the manager Ignacio which was very understanding and professional. Also, after I spoke with Ignacio and went walking through the Best Buy, I was towards the back by the televisions and Alex popped out of no where saying, "Hey, hey, what's up man, your not here to drop a dime on me?" He was referring to reporting him for the situation that happened at my house. I then went back to the front to let Ignacio know that the technician was in the back and explained the encounter. This whole ordeal was very disturbing. I am not able to express how disturbed I am with this matter with an ending because these situations I have encountered with Best Buy have not ended. This is only a partial explanation of the situations that have occurred. I feel it is already more than enough for a proper investigation and full compensation of all amounts in this transaction. I have purchased a Lorex security system, advanced wired cameras installation, and a total tech membership. Which I believe has been the total opposite of a preferred membership customer. These request are in good faith for my time, mental well-being, and physical commitments. If Best Buy wishes to show their efforts to show me that I am an important customer. I may feel relieved of all these hardships are accommodated in good faith. Please consider the importance of customer service. Juan
