Quick,easy set up of my computer by a skilled pro!

The tech arrived on time, was courteous and saw to adjustments needed so my laptop works well for me. I work from home, averaging 30 hours per week on the machine, so I need it to work well.

The Geek Squad agent was timely, alerting me ahead of time approximate time of arrival. They were knowledgeable, polite and helpful, answering my list of questions in setting up my new laptop. They were able to resolve my Zoom app and other issues I was having.

I just like to say that Mike, called me on Friday and informed me that what time he was going to arrive and updated me his stautus...that is customer service. I was completely impressed with their professionalism, expertise, patience. He was very helpful in adjusting to my new computer, software, and made my new learning a lot better. He provided outstanding service. He is a credit to Geek Squad and Best Buy. Thank you

The gentleman who set me up was excellent. He set up everything I needed to be up and running, including all peripheral hardware and the initial setup of Windows 11. Absolutely not just a "plug in the cables" install. Very nice, personable fellow, and obviously competent. I'm an old computer geek, but have been out of things for a while. I felt very comfortable with everything he did, and learned some stuff in the process. Best Buy is very lucky to have this gentleman representing them.

Varton was the technician who came out to set up my HP. He was very knowledgeable in answering my questions and was able to help me understand my new systems. I was grateful that he took his time & patient with someone who is not Tech Saavy. I thank him for sharing his technical skills & knowledge. He is an asset to the Geek Squad team. Thank you.

I had nothing but positive comments from when I purchsed my computer to the I -house set up and transferred of my data. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable professional and answered every one of my questions. I did have one issue when I was setting up my in-house setup and transfer over the phone with GeekSquad…..the young lady didNOT include my data transfer like we had discussed and I was charged two times on my credit card. But this was quickly rectified when I called right back..the charges were reversed. The set up went smoothly and my representative from Geek Squad…Ray from Watertown…was exceptional and over the top. He transferred all y data from my old computer to O my new computer and explained everything to me.

They knew how to wire my tower to my key board. I did not know how. Great job ! It works.

Very helpful setting up rather complicated interface between TV, Firestick, DVD, sound bar & explaining use. The initial issue was the DVD would not play. Tech Jonathan Holy was great - he was able to simplify the operating problems discussed below to only two remotes & interface the TV, DVD, sound bar & Firestick. I do have an issue with Best Buy regarding this purchase. I purchased 2 TVs, a DVD & sound bar in Denver for delivery to the Ft. Myers store last November preparing for remodeling our condo fearing product shortages later at that point in time (also a computer & printer). I CAREFULLY explained to the sales person in Denver I would be streaming with T-Mobile & DirectTV as that is the same way we stream on our boat & I can suspend T-Mobile as often as I want when we are not in the Florida condo. He recommended a smaller Toshiba for the bedroom & a 50 inch Sony for the living room, saying the Sony had the best picture quality. During install in Ft. Myers I THEN discovered the Sony does not have the DirectTV app installed & ended up having to buy a Firestick. NOW we have three controllers to fool with & operating both TVs is different. The sales person did not listen to the customer OR did not know his product. I would MUCH rather have accepted a slightly less picture quality for two TVs that operated the same & not having to jump thru the hoops required to use the Sony/Firestick combination. We just remodeled the condo & this late winter/spring is our first "snowbird" experience so we'll see how it goes. If the function problems using the Sony persist, I'll ask Best Buy to take it back & give, that is GIVE me a replacement 50 inch that has the DirectTV app installed. Johnathan helped a lot, it is easier to use the Sony now with two rather than three controllers but still not as easy as the Toshiba. The problem is with the Sony TV & DVD, the LG sound bar & the Firestick all talking to each other. A TV with the DirectTV app already installed, as I carefully explained to the Denver sales person I wanted & thought I had purchased, would greatly improve & simplify the operation of the entertainment suite.

The young man, Jake, that the Geek Squad sent to set up my new computer and transfer all information from my Windows 10 computer to the new Windows 11 computer I bought at Best Buy did an EXCELLENT job. I am loving my new computer !

The agents set up my new computer & printer in very efficient manner. They showed me various things, answered any questions. They were very friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. Very appreciative of their help as I was able to get going myself right away after their help.

The computer is working great but the Geek Squad associate who came to my home to set it up neglected to set up antivirus software to which I was entitled, and even if I wasn't entitled to it wouldn't you assume that Geek Squad would not leave a new computer unprotected? At least cover the issue. They did not.

The person whom transferred everything was good. We asked questions and he answered them.Geek squad agent was very good that set up everything in our house was great and answered all questions to our satisfaction. Very good people on geek squad.

I bought a gaming computer system which I was having trouble setting up. The Geek Squad arrived on time and efficiently hooked up and brought the system up. They asked me questions and I told them my daily uses. After they left, I was back to what I needed to do. Very knowledgeable and courteous. Nice knowing I have them if I need them in the future. Service tech was excellent. On 5/16 came to my home, insralled a PC & printer/fax & loaded google. Personable, resourceful, knowledgeable & patient.

Wow! I was so pleased with the set up and the professional attitude of the technicians who assisted me. Randy is an expert when it comes to set up and troubleshooting, Frank is a great customer service agent. They installed all of the software purchased and made sure all my usual programs were working properly. I am so pleased!!!

Geek Squad was worth every penny I spent for their set up service!! They were polite, very professional and very friendly. And did I mention fast? They had everything transferred from the old to the new computer in just a short time and we were up and running. Been over 3 weeks so no set issues at all. Even better knowing I have a full 2 years of future service now without headache or worry!
