A:AnswerIt can be done. We were told they may be able to do so or they may send it out to have it done. It can cost from $200 up to about $1000 though depending on what they do.
A:AnswerYes, I recently purchased a laptop from Walmart and Geek Squad was able to transfer everything from my PC into my new laptop.
You might want to purchase an external hard drive and have them save all your info into it . (Just in case a glitch occurs during the transfer) External hard drives are inexpensive and this will give you a second copy of your files.
Your tech plan should cover the transfer. I paid $99 since I had canceled my service plan.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerI was advised to back up my files but couldn’t as that is what I took my computers in for geek squad to do. Everything was fine and the back up hard drive had everything that I wanted
A:AnswerWe ended up going over there, just bring your device with you as they may take it then. We had to go and get ours! Leftist and it was done under 3 hours later. They text you with every step. When it was done , l just went back and got it
A:AnswerHi Rita. Thank you for your question! We completely understand and can definitely explore our options here. We'd like to know more about the two iPads to figure out the best way to do this. Please either call your local Best Buy store or us at (800) GEEK-SQUAD or (800) 433-5778, to get started.
A:AnswerI had to do this with one a while ago (couple years) and found the easiest way was to have the geek squad do it only thing that made me mad was the call that it was done came as I pulled in my driveway 45 minutes after I dropped it off but that was the only thing so I picked it up the next day and all has been good
A:AnswerHi there. Thank you for reaching out about this. We could definitely transfer the data over from your old iPad to the new one. There shouldn't be a charge. I'd recommend setting up an appointment for the Geek Squad. They may send you over to mobile as they can do it too. To be safe though, please visit www.geeksquad.com/schedule to set up a free consultation at your local Best Buy.
A:AnswerWithout a doubt! Data transfer and services through the geek squad or a snap. No one be the younger old would have any issues utilizing this service. Having an older father and myself we connected him with the geek squad and loved and use the service regularly!
A:AnswerHi Annie. Thanks for reaching out about this! We should be able to take care of this, with no issue. To get started, please visit www.geeksquad.com/schedule to set up a free consultation at your local Best Buy.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for reaching out about this. Most systems that you'll buy nowadays are 64 bit with just a very few being on 32 bit. As far as moving the data, it shouldn't be too hard unless the hard drive in the old computer is failing. Once you're ready to go, please visit www.geeksquad.com/schedule to set up a free consultation at your local Best Buy.
