QuestionHelp! This headset works when plugged into one remote, but not the others?? I have four kids and only one being able to use is a DRAG!! Shouldn't it be as easy as plugging from one remote to the other??? We have tried everything I have seen online.

- Answer Hi! I had it not work once, but haven't had a problem going from different remotes. I hard started my Xbox and it was all good. Try that when moving to a different remote. :)

- Answer Yes it does. It will be displayed under Audio settings in your Xbox menu. If you do purchase this headset, make sure to download the dolby app on your Xbox.

- Answer Hi Guy, Check out the Support page on RIGGAMING.com for our RIG wired headset setup videos for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Some useful info to make sure your audio settings are set to the microphone on the headset. Make sure the microphone is plugged in all the way for a proper connection. And make sure, on the console controller side, you have the proper RIG audio dial plug sleeve in place. This product comes with the Xbox sleeve tip. You may want to try without the sleeve to see if you get full connection on your controller to engage the microphone. QuestionJust purchased my headset yesterday and I can’t have the volume to loud, I can’t have the volume up to hear my friend talk either, basically if the sound is loud in the speakers it echoes bad and my friends hear it in the party. So what do I do, exchange?

QuestionWhat if your headset doesn't have any sound coming from it and the mic is not working.But it says on your console or tv that the headset is on and is working but yu cant hear anything or talk.

- Answer Hi Bobby, A few things you can try. First off, check out the RIG Wired Headset Setup Video for XBox on the RIG Gaming channel on YouTube. Next, try plugging in your RIG 500 PRO HX headset into another audio source like a tablet, PC or other standard 3.5mm audio source to see if the headset works fine on those devices (if it does, then it's likely your console audio settings). - Answer Hi Waste, This is an interesting question because the RIG 500 PRO HX does not have a battery and therefore is not rechargeable. And there are no lights in it. Questionrig 500 pro headset. wired with the volume dial. i have issues with the volume being equal between left and right ear. left ear is always 100. rights ear is sporadic with the dial and usually at 60. as if a bad connection on the dial. fix/replace?

- Answer Hi Frankey86, It sounds like your RIG 500 PRO headset isn't making good connection with your controller. Are you gaming on XBOX? If so, you should be using the RIG audio dial plug sleeve that came pre-installed on the headset. If gaming on PS4/PS5, then the RIG audio dial plug sleeve was included separately in the box and you would need to switch from the sleeve that came preinstalled. And make sure the audio cable is fully inserted into the earcup and fully inserted into your controller. - Answer Hi Mason, Are you using the Dolby Atmos surround sound - code was included in the box? Check out the RIG Wired Headset Setup for XBOX video on the RIG Gaming Channel on YouTube for information on how to make sure you turn on Dolby Atmos in your console audio settings. It could also be that the RIG 500 PRO headset isn't making good connection with your controller. If you are gaming on XBox, you should be using the RIG audio dial plug sleeve that came pre-installed on the headset. If gaming on PS4/PS5, then the RIG audio dial plug sleeve was included separately in the box and you would need to switch from the sleeve that came preinstalled. And make sure the audio cable is fully inserted into the earcup and fully inserted into your controller. QuestionI have had the rig 500 for about a year and I can only hear out of the left side and party chat works but I can’t hear any game audio. Apparently you have to update the controller so I updated it and nothing happened.

- Answer Hi RIG500isbest, There are a few things you can try. First, make sure the cable is plugged all the way into the headset and the controller, and make sure you are using the proper controller sleeve. RIG 500 PRO HX ships with the RIG audio dial XBox sleeve in place, PS4/PS5 sleeve is in the box. Try a different 3.5mm 4-pole audio cable (3 black rings around plug tips) to see if a different audio cable solves the issue. Next, check your audio settings in the console. See RIG Wired Headset setup details on our video on the RIG Gaming channel on YouTube. Next, plug into another device like a tablet or PC with standard 3.5mm audio port to see if you have the same issues. If you don't, then likely it is a controller issue. If you do, then contact our Customer Support via email at [email protected] for warranty support. The RIG 500 PRO HX has a 1 year warranty covering manufacturer defects.

QuestionI have a ps4 and i got myself a RIG 400hs 40 mm for christmas. my mic is not working, all of the audio is great just the mic eill not work. do you know how to turn it on?

- Answer Hi Adam, Please note the RIG 400HS is not a headset sold at Best Buy. But there are a few things you can check that are universal for all RIG headset, and gaming headsets in general. First, check the microphone settings in your console audio settings and make sure the microphone audio is set to the proper level. Then, make sure your headset is plugged all the way into your controller, and make sure microphone is firmly inserted into the port on the headset earcup. You can also check the mic by plugging into another 3.5mm audio source other than your controller, or into another controller, to make sure there isn't a controller issue. If you are plugging into a PC and it has separate audio ports for speaker and microphone, you will need to purchase a 3.5mm 4-pole splitter separately. If your mic is still not working after all of that, contact your gift giver as the prouduct is likely within retail return policy if purchased new. - Answer Dolby Atmos is not required to hear on both sides of the headset. If you have trouble hearing through either side and your mic doesn't work, the problem is most likely the cable is damaged. To make sure your mic is working, go into your audio settings and make sure your mic is switch to on. If it is and your friends still can't hear you, go to accessories and update your controller while the headset is plugged in. Hope this helps!

- Answer I know it sounds stupid but check your mic to ensure it's fully plugged in. I've accidentally pulled it out slightly without realizing it. And make sure it's fully switched down and your adapter isn't muted. Besides that, I'd have it looked at because there's something else going on.

- Answer If you installed the Dolby atmos app and checked audio setting to insure mic turned on then may want try exchange them i have had issues with mine and when does work have to yell into it. I gave up ordering better set :( good luck.
