The agent was nice, answered a couple of questions in the book that I had about the R7040. As I am 81 yrs old and unsure when it comes to connecting new things, I was glad he came but all in all could have done it myself. They usually do not have agents for this but it made me feel more confident. As the technology changes, older people are really more unsure they are doing the right thing. My husband is 86 an we have it synced to his Galaxy S10 which the Geek squad guy helped me with. Could have gotten these answers though if I made a Geek Squad appointment in the store.

Yes they did : No problems which so ever now or when I move again.

I needed a new computer but had no idea how to make it interact with my old technology - so I took the plunge and enlisted the Geek Squad to set up my new Dell and it was the best decision I made. Everything runs perfectly - even better than before! Thanks Squad!

Geek Squad came to my home a mounted both of my Samsung 55 inch OLED Smart Televisions and my Sonos Music Home Theater System.

The agent did not mount my TV 65" because they said my wall which is concrete blocks would not support the device. They replaced the devices flat screen brain or guts. Now when you turn it on it shuts off once and then comes right back on. WEIRD

My Geek Squad service both over the phone and in home service was absolutely AMAZING!! Extremely knowledgeable and very efficient!!

The agent couldn’t set the WiFi from my computer to the printer as much as she tried and came to the conclusion that the problem was the printer head.

Hooked up only new Monitor to computer with cord running out side of desk instead of serpentine through Computer Desk port entries on side of desk and in back to hide Power Cords and such! Tech Stated "Inaccessible", can't do the work! Called a Handyman who only had experience in taking Real Wood Computer Desk disassembly only, but Handyman went out of his expertise and help me install new power strips and remove old components from desk anyway, eliminating have to take Real Wood Computer Desk Top completely apart to get to components inside of desk. $164.00 for this @ Best Buy to hook up only new Monitor!

Service6/30/2021 Unfortunately, I am not aware of your internal organizational chart that would state the promotion and incentive procedures by which a Best Buy Employee is selected to move up in the ranks. But, in my opinion, Mr. Lahey desires an evaluation that would allow him to move up in the ranks, perhaps either train personnel seeking to represent the best at Best Buy in terms of technology and customer relationship skills. Mr. Lahey, in the brief period allotted to me by him to resolve my computer issues: • Demonstrated his vast knowledge of the electronic and computer industry • Along with stating why current trends in the computer and electronic industries came about, and, • Why specific trends have been surpassed by either better technology or customer insistence weighing in at various age groups, with varying computer and electronic skills and experiences, yet all, • Wanting faster, more reliable, and better computer and technological devices. Let check some boxes as to why Mr. Lahey should be reevaluated for an upward moment in terms of representing Best Buy to the Public-at-large and amongst his fellow co-workers: Mr. Lahey’s character, as does that of Best Buy, “ …recognizes that no one wants to be stuck in the old tech.” I had mentioned my lack of computer skills and resistance to and in accepting changes in the computer and technology industry. He used his professional time and professional experiences to explain why changes had occurred in the computer industry and the good aspect and the bad aspect of those changes, and how such changes have strengthened the industry. Mr. Lahey’s forward and positive attitudes and expectations for himself, Best Buy, and his customers describe the leadership position Best Buy has assumed in the niche it operates within. The following factors contribute to and for that positive attitude, expectations, and service: Mr. Lahey embodies the “unleash the power of our people, learn from challenge and change, show respect, humility, integrity, have fun while being the best.” Mr. Lahey epitomizes Improving lives by taking the time to understand both the industry and the customer’s wants and needs while servicing both his professional standard and Best Buy’s expectation. Mr. Lahey exemplifies learning from challenges and change by sharing his professional time and experiences to show me how the computer industry has become more reliable through change and challenges. Not only does Mr. Lahey illuminates having fun while being the Best, but he also wants you to know that he is working for an exceptional Company. During the servicing of my request, his confidence and skill left no doubt that he is constantly staying abreast of the field and doing whatever research and homework needed prior to greeting his customers. Mr. Lahey illustrates Best Buy’s vision statement “to positively impact the world, enrich people’s lives through technology and contribute to the common good.” Mr. Lahey personifies Best Buy’s Mission Statement as “we’re a growth company focused on better solving the unmet needs of our customers—and we rely on our employees to solve those puzzles.” These factors listed do typify that Mr. Lahey’s demonstrated abilities to represent Best Buy Mission, Goals, and Objectives to the Public-at-Large and amongst his co-workers are worthy of future development. We were in competent hands for sure. The technician clearly explained each step. He was very patient with all of our questions and answered with understandable explanations for the non-geek. The computer works well. When I did have a few questions about a week after the installation, I e-mailed him and quickly received a helpful response. All in all, top flight. Thank you.

Geek Squad tech transferred all my data from my old computer to my new and installed office word, excel pwr point. A couple days later Geek Squad installer showed up early to hook up new computer...did a great job. Very professional, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.

I am extremely pleased with the excellent fast setup by the Geek Squad. I rate our Geek Squad agent Andrew Hamann a 10 for the great service! He was knowledgeable, extremely helpful and went over and above to answer our questions and to make sure we understood how it worked!!

David Carpenter was my Geek Squad installer. If I could give him a rating higher than a 10, I would. He arrived on time, assessed my new PC and the data transfer situation, and alerted me that the All-in-One that I had purchased had an internal hard drive that was actually smaller than the one I had in my old desktop pc. After reviewing online the other pc alternatives, I made a decision to exchange what I had. David took the pc back to the store, exchanged it for the new one I had chosen, and returned to install it and transfer all my data. He explained everything as he went along and had answers to all my questions. The final result - I have a new pc that I love, and the service was exceptional. Thank you, David!!

I purchased the Geek Squad service along with a laptop because the guy who did IT for me had just retired. I thought I’d give it a try because it was so reasonably priced. I’m renewing because it’s that and more. The “geeks” are knowledgeable, professional and very nice. I get service at my home office and actually look forward to IT calls. The “geeks” have not only taken care of any service issues I have, but they have taught me quite a bit. The service can’t be beat.

Professional, knowledgeable help for laptop setup. I had several unique situations and a complicated setup was needed with two computers. Geek Squad was prompt and efficient! Highly recommended.

Agent Anthony And His Assistant (In Sierra Vista, Arizona) Installed My New 27 Inch Monitor And Insured That It Was In-Sych With The Rest Of My Computer System. Their Work Was Fast But Also Both Efficient And Effective. Agent Anthony Showed Me How To Use The Different Features Of This New Monitor, Which Was Very Helpful. I Would Definitely Enjoy Having Agent Anthony Come To My House Again The Next Time That I Have A Home Installation Requirement.

The Geek Squad member that came to my home was excellent. He was knowledgable. He was efficient. He was thorough. He helped me set up a system that I had been trying to set up for six months at least. He was multi-lingual - could help with the iMac I owned and the new HP and get them both talking to a printer that I had bought earlier and wasn't operating properly. He made it all work and did it efficiently and effectively. It is all that you could hope for when you secure such a service. I would recommend it highly.

I had Geek Squad come out and uninstall my old desktop computer and install my new computer, and they did a great job. Took care of a lot of things that I would not have been able to do myself. Exceptional service. I'm so glad that I had them perform this service. I thought I'd lose a lot of information from my old service, but they were able to keep virtually all my critical information and transfer it from my old hard drive to my new hard drive. Great service!!

The agent was extremely knowledgeable, professional, thorough, and kind. He set up everything (new hardware+), made sure all wired/wireless connections worked properly, and patiently explained it all to my 90-year-old mother. I was already a fan of Geek Squad services. The agent set up my new iMac, downloading data from my old computer to the new one. He tried to set up my printer however it was too old to work with the new system. His patience at explaining what I needed to know, and his skill in using terms I would understand were very appreciated! A very positive experience !
