    While talking with the technicans in the store, they were very helpful. Took my computers in on a Saturday for a data transfer from an old computer to a new one. Was told the service would take 1-2 days. The tech didn't know if that meant by Sunday or would it be "working days", so said that I should have it completed by Tuesday. As my computer was in the store, I had no access to my email and I asked to be sent a text to notify me when completed. On Wednesday I tried to call the store with the number given to me on the card by the service tech. Unfortunately, apparently all Best Buy phone numbers always takes you to a long wait run-around call center where they really have no idea what is going on. I was told that my computer service was completed on the previous Sunday but I'd have to schedule and appointment on Thursday to pick it up, which I did. Then I immediately went to the Best Buy store and picked up my computer with no problems. They didn't know why I didn't receive a text that the service was done.

    The Geek Squad set up my newly purchased laptop with all he apps I needed and accomplished this in just a couple of days after I dropped it off at the store. Needed to purchase a new computer to include Windows 11. No problems. Everything is working perfectly.

    The agents helped me transfer the information and data from one computer to another as I was unable to do this. They explain what they were going to do, how long it might take and why it would probably take this long. They also suggested I make a followup appointment to get more instruction with my phone as well to better understand what my phone had the capabilities to do.

    I doubt I would even be able to do half the things I do on the laptop without the introduction and tutorial I got from the Geek Squad's Steve. He was terrific: patient, knowledgeable, and logical -- a very good teacher.

    My Best But/Geek Squad Experience 3/13 & 3/14/2021

    Kris was very courteous, focused & knowledgeable. She did an excellent job installing & setting up my computer. Kris made me feel like a valued client and thanks to her I decided to purchase Geek Squad Tech membership again. I had it for years before & was very pleased but Over a year ago (the last year I had a very disgusting experience with Best Buy GS failure to perform under the specified terms of the GS contract. & quit shopping Best Buy & thot to file Deceptive Trade Practices lawsuit & am confident I could win my case! But decided to cut my losses & move on! BBuy's Corporate should have refunded at least half if the $200 membership! & i still feel should do so at this late dste. RemoteService was nonexistent! Corporate Mgmt a total screwup in everyway possible! by Best Buy/GS ... The in store staff of sales & technicians are always outstanding in their performance! The problems I experienced lies totallt with your corporate management i.e. "rain falls down" not up. Well thanks to the wonderful sales personnel and Kris the technician I bought a new computer & membership in Geeksquad and was and very pkeased with the service provided by Kris and one other sales member (who actually sold me my computer & worked thru resolving avhuge issue with my account ... so sorry I can't recall his name but if you care to chk my sales receipt I am sure you can identify that outstanding youngman. he was very knowlefgeable in everyway and so coyrteoys & helpful.

    I had problems with my Kindle--the screen had gone black, and I was unable to turn the Kindle off or restart. Even though they don't sell Kindles and have less experience with them. My squad person went to the manufacturing site to help work through the problem. I am now happily reading my Kindle again--thanks to him!

    My Geek Squad experience was just what I needed as I am someone who doesn't know how to do any of the technical stuff on a computer. When I arrived for my appointment everything was set up as I had requested and then time was spent explaining everything I needed answered about my new Lenovo laotop. They set up my Google accounts, email, Microsoft Office etc...I went home ready to use my laptop with no problem at all. Well worth the cost! Love the Geek Squad!

    Very disappointed in the information I received from the Galleria store. I purchased and paid for the computer at the Galleria Store but they didn't have it in stock so I had to travel to the Niagara Falls Blvd. store. I was then told that I couldn't wait for the Word software to be uploaded, I had to travel back to the Niagara Falls at another date. Lots of unnecessary travel required when she should have just told me that to begin with (about the delay in uploading the software) and had the computer sent over to the Galleria store and had the software installed there. I think the salesgirl was just trying to get credit for the sale at the expense and inconvenience of the customer!

    The Geek Squad transferred data from old computer and loaded it to new computer and portable backup. They also fixed old computer's issues! The Agents were all professional and knowledgeable! Especially the last Agent that handed over the finished product. Not only did he explain everything I needed but also gave me some helpful hints for things I needed to do! Very impressed!

    Everything I requested was completed timely and with excellent customer service. Everything from my old computer was transferred to the new computer. The Geek Squad set up Zoom, and my search engine as Firefox, which I requested. I was very satisfied

    We had 2 separate visits to the store. 1st was purchasing the Fitbit Charge 6 watches for myself and my wife. The 'man on the floor', did a hunt in the back area for the second watch (one was on the bottom shelf); had a brief chat with him, did not get his name - very pleasant, and eager to help. 2nd was returning to the store days later, as trying to sync up at home was going nowhere. We were able to get help from the Geek Squad people, which went slooowly. We ended later at our cellphone provider to finish the process. All the store people we dealt with both sessions were as helpful as possible, and kept both serious moments and some light-heartedness dealing with our frustrations. Kudos to your staffing, overall. [separate note here: This is the THIRD time have written comments. all positive, but not identical. Please let me know if something is still wrong from your point of view.

    “Geek Squad “ purchase was included in an earlier purchase this year and we have used their services very successfully!!! Everyone we worked with over several “visits” have been professional, knowledgeable, and have bent over backwards to resolve issues. We will continue to enroll in the program and continue to keep using them and shopping at Best Buy!!!
