A:AnswerI’m not sure what Geek Squad would charge to come out to your home . I purchased Total Tech for $199 and that has many benefits, one of which was transferring my programs. However, I bought my laptop in the store and left it with the Geek Squad right then to do the transfer. Your best bet is to call and talk to someone at Best Buy and find out what the cost would be for them to come to your home and do what you want to have done. I’m sorry I can’t give you a better answer.
A:AnswerI had Geek Squad back up the had drive on my Lenovo which had crashed. You can purchase an external hard drive there ( mine was $40 but it depends upon how much data you have) and the transfer was $99, although it could vary. Then with a new computer you reload your data onto the new computer. But if you are buying a new Apple product from them, it might be less expensive and if you get the Apple Care plan for the new computer, and it might be included. Talk to a BestBuy rep in the store to get full info.

A:AnswerWe just got a brand new desk top that is supposed to be super quick but it isn't. I think the speed of your internet is the issue. They did transfer over all our files, however they ask you which files you want transferred so you have to make sure YOU are thorough in telling them all the files you want. We forgot to include some and now they are gone.
